How long will it take for my website, mobile website, landing page, or logo project to be completed?

The timescale of a website, mobile website, landing page, or logo project is often dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind, Designs by Cami will make every effort to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new project is waiting for content (text or images) to be sent to us by the client. For most projects, Designs by Cami tries to work within the 4- to 8-week timeframe. It depends on the size of your site.

Will Designs by Cami need to have a face-to-face meeting to begin the project?

In the majority of cases, a meeting isn’t necessary, and most of our websites are generally completed with contact via email, Skype, and telephone. As many of Designs by Cami’s clients are from around the country and nationwide, Designs by Cami does online communication with email and phone contact with Designs by Cami clients. Designs by Cami has regular communication with all clients to keep you abreast of developments and ensure you are getting exactly what you expect from Designs by Cami.

Do you charge for the phone consult?

Designs by Cami’s goal is to help clients get the results they desire. Designs by Cami honors and respects your desires and wishes and will give you a 30-minute phone consultation for free. This free phone consultation is given with all client or agency phone consultations that may arise during and after project completion. The time allotted beyond the 30 minutes will be discussed if necessary. Excessive phone consultations may possibly require a billing assessment of $25 for 30-minute intervals. But only if necessary.

How should I supply the content for my website?

It is helpful if you are able to provide text and photographs in electronic form—for example, the file output by a digital camera and the copied content in MS Word or a similar format. Designs by Cami will also provide you with instructions on how to upload the material via FTP or email.

Will my website design be search engine-friendly?

All of Designs by Cami’s websites are created with search engines in mind, making sure the website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. It is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated regularly, as over a period of time, the search engines do alter their rules and algorithms. You will want to be certain that your website is kept up-to-date and complies with new rules, etc.

Are there hidden costs associated with web design services?

No. Designs by Cami discuss with you your website requirements and then price accordingly. Once you have placed an order for your website design with us, Designs by Cami works hard so that the outlined price quote is strictly adhered to. Web design is very much an evolutionary process, and often clients change the scope of a project once it is underway. If the need to alter the price quote arises, Designs by Cami will communicate this to you before any extra work is started. If changes and/or additions are requested by the client, additional costs will be agreed upon.

How do I update my website?

There are many different methods that can be used to update websites. The method you choose and the functionality Designs by Cami builds into your website design are solely up to you and your budget. Of course, Designs by Cami is always available to help you with any future additions and changes you would like. Designs by Cami will be glad to advise you on which method will suit your needs.

If you have a small website consisting of just a few pages and will only wish to make changes very infrequently, then usually it is more cost-effective to simply ask Designs by Cami to carry out these changes for you. Other methods that are frequently chosen are largely dependent upon how much data, information, and pictures you have and how you store this information at present.

Can you provide information on where to get domain names, hosting services, and social networks?

Yes, Designs by Cami can help you register your domain name and provide web hosting services.

Will my website be responsive and mobile-ready?

All websites are built to suit, but in general terms, all Designs by Cami websites are fully responsive.

I already have a website, and I need it updated. Can you help me?
